Team BlueLine Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit that aims to help officers injured or fallen in the line of duty as well as their families. Team BlueLine supports these officers and their families in a variety of ways, everything from help with groceries or bills, to assisting in paying for a child's tuition, or even providing a service dog for officers with PTSD.
One of the ways that Team BlueLine raises money includes Team BlueLine Racing. Members of the racing team participate in triathlons, cycling races, road races, obstacle course races and trail runs across the United States. As a member of Team BlueLine racing, I race in place of the officers who are no longer able to and in honor of them. Every time we race we represent these injured and fallen officers in hopes of raising awareness.
Every TBL athlete races with a BlueLine flag, which represents officers killed in the line of duty. When the Blue Line crosses the finish line, we remember each man and woman who gave fully and selflessly in their service. These heroes are what motivate us to finish strong
