Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for Team Blueline Inc

I have always had a deep appreciation for law enforcement. in 2003 when I met my husband I became a police girlfriend and later a police wife. I never fully understood the "brotherhood and sisterhood" bond these officers had.

In 2004 one of my husbands good friends died in the line of duty, https://www.odmp.org/officer/17371-police-officer-... Prior to that I never thought twice about Law Enforcement line of duty deaths. I remember going to Brians' funeral and being surrounded in a sea of officers. Wall to wall inside of a packed church I got my first glimpse of what the ultimate sacrifice does to a family and department. I remember watching Brians' wife console their young son. I remember having to leave the church because I just couldn't breathe. Watching grown men and women grieve for their fellow brother in blue, shook me to my core. I have been to several LODD funerals since then and the emotion is always the same.

In 2015 I CO-founded a non-profit whose mission was to support those who protect us. Together we marched in the streets of Washington, DC to make sure our nations law enforcement officers knew they were supported. At times the turnouts were large and at times small. We got national news coverage supporting our mission, and I was very proud to be a part of something great.

As a newish exercise enthusiast I was excited to have the opportunity to join Team Blue line. To run races all over the Washington, DC area proudly flying that thin blue line flag. I am excited to raise money for this very important non-profit, whos mission is to provide funding for families whos loved ones were killed in the line of duty.

The money raised goes directly to the families who need it, and that is important to me. I am asking for donations to help support this cause. There are many organizations who fundraise for our fallen heroes, but what I have found is sometimes that isn't enough. I am learning that spouses are still in financial stress. Especially smaller departments who don't have lots of resources. So I am asking you when considering who to donate to, please consider donating to team blue line.
