Join me in supporting real change. Let’s support good in the world and make a difference. Help us for Team Blueline Inc

Why am I doing this you may be asking yourself. Good question. I have many friends and former students who are currently in law enforcement or retired. Every time they go to work, they are putting their lives on the line to keep the rest of us safe. I have been blessed to walked with them through the ups and down of their jobs. I have highest of respect for these friends/former students and all law enforcement officers. I am humbled by their continual sacrifices and have wished I could do more to support them. I believe I have found that way through Team Blueline Inc.

What is Team Blueline Inc.? Team Blueline is a non profit organization whose mission is to raise funds to support families of law enforcement officers killed or severely injured in the line of duty. I have joined Team Blueline Racing as the avenue to help me promote this cause and raise funds. I will be combining two passions of mine...supporting our brave law enforcement officers and my love of running and being outdoors. We race to bring awareness to Team Blueline and all that this organization is able to accomplish for law enforcement officers. As I share about Team Blueline while training and racing, I am hoping people will come along with me on this journey and financially support the organization.

How did I come to be a part of Team Blueline Racing? That is simple-through two amazing friends-Chris and Shannon Suarez. Chris is one of those friends I spoke of earlier who is a law enforcement officer. I first heard of Team Blueline Racing two years ago as I followed his journey training for his first triathlon. Then, last year Shannon joined the team and I learned a lot more as she and Chris trained for and successfully completed their first Half Ironman Triathlon. I asked about joining Team Blueline Racing and next think you know, here I am a proud and excited member.

As of now, I am not planning on doing any Half Ironman Triathlons (insert laughing hysterically emoj here.) My goal is to run at least one race each month this year....mostly 5Ks and 10Ks with the hopes of doing a half marathon in May or June. For every race I enter, I will make a donation to Team Blueline matching the registration fee. My goal is off to a slow start as I am still recovering from a foot injury. Getting back to a consistent training schedule has been challenging. I am not where I had planned on being at this point with my training, but I am not giving up.

Would you please consider making a donation? Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for Team Blueline Inc
